Whooper Swan Cygnus Cygnus
This is a large swan, much bigger than the Bewick with black legs. The black bill has a triangular patch of yellow on it and is fairly unique to individual swans. It migrates to the Uk in the winter mainly from Iceland and can be seen October to March. They will eat grass grain and are partial to potatoes.
